Being homeless is clearly a serious thing. According to the National Alliance to End Homelessness, 21 per ever 10,000 people are homeless. The recession and the housing crisis threw a lot of surprised people for a loop. Although homelessness is serious, just like anything else that’s difficult: the best way to get through it is with a smile and a joke.
